You will operate advanced surveying equipment, ensure compliance with standards, and contribute to safety and operational integrity in a busy mining environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mine Surveying or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Mine Surveyor with geotechnical surveying.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson Survey, total stations and GPS.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-precision surveys of mine sites, including underground workings and surface infrastructure.
  • Implement geotechnical monitoring programs measuring ground movement and stability.

This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of surveying principles, and the ability to work effectively with geotechnical engineers and mine planners. You will contribute directly to maintaining operational integrity and safety standards in a busy mining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-precision surveys of mine sites, including underground workings and surface infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage geotechnical monitoring programs, measuring ground movement and stability.
  • Process and analyze survey data, creating accurate maps, models, and reports.
