Job summary

The role emphasizes on-the-job training, coaching, and ensuring governance of SOPs while maintaining cost controls and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Formal mining background with leadership capability.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant mining experience.
• Strong coaching and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead to meet department KPIs for safe coal production.
• Ensure equipment availability and adherence to overhaul/maintenance plans.
• Implement SOPs/COPs and governance across areas of responsibility.
• Drive safety performance, zero harm and continuous improvement metrics.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to personnel.
• Control costs and deliver against budget and reporting calendar.
