The ideal candidate has a strong track record in leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the mining sector, with 15+ years of experience, and 7+ in senior roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in mining with at least 7 in senior management.
• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering; MBA preferred.
• Experience in open-pit or underground mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall mine strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day mining operations including production, planning, maintenance.
• Ensure high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and capital expenditure planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team.
• Foster relationships with local communities, authorities, and stakeholders.
