The successful candidate will have a BSc/BEng in Mining Engineering, 10+ years in mining operations with 5+ in senior management, and strong leadership, planning, and financial skills. Relocation and housing support may be provided.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Mine Manager to lead their open-pit operations in the Upington region. This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall management of mine operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of resources in line with strategic objectives. You will oversee all aspects of production, maintenance, health, safety, and environmental management, leading a large team of professionals and operational staff. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all day-to-day activities of the open-pit mine operations.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of open-pit mining methods, equipment, safety regulations, and environmental management.
