Placements24 is seeking an experienced Mine Maintenance Supervisor near Stellenbosch to oversee maintenance operations and ensure optimal performance of mining equipment and plant machinery.

You will lead a team of technicians, implement preventative maintenance programs, and manage CMMS, spares, and safety compliance in a highly demanding heavy-industrial environment in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification (e.g., Fitter and Turner, Electrician) or National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision within mining or heavy industrial sector.
• Proven experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems relevant to mining equipment.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of necessary components.

Requirements
