Mine Maintenance Superintendent

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mine Maintenance Superintendent to oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities for their mining operations in the Soweto vicinity. This pivotal role ensures the reliability and optimal performance of all mining equipment, including heavy mobile machinery, processing plants, and fixed infrastructure. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors, implementing proactive maintenance strategies, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all mining equipment.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance supervisors, technicians, and artisans, ensuring efficient work allocation and performance management.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile equipment, processing plant machinery, and electrical systems.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory, labor costs, and capital expenditure for equipment upgrades.

Requirements
