Job summary

The Western Cape Sales Representative for BD’s Medication Management Solutions will drive MMS infusion product sales in the assigned territory, building new business and expanding partnerships with hospitals and pharmacy networks.

You will onboard customers, deliver product demonstrations, train users, manage opportunities in SFDC, and contribute to achieving MMS sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Science, nursing or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years of MedTech or Pharmaceuticals sales experience.
• Automated infusion solutions experience is mandatory.
• Clinical background is an advantage.
• Proven sales background in the hospital sector; Western Cape experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new customers with training and product demonstrations.
• Achieve MMS sales targets in the Western Cape per the business plan.
• Maintain and grow current business by nurturing customer relationships.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
• A ctively manage accounts and opportunities in SFDC (Salesforce).
• Schedule and participate in Winroom reviews with the Sales Manager and capture insights in SFDC.
• Participate in congresses and exhibitions, including weekends and after-hours.
• Build relationships with hospital staff, procurement teams and hospital executives.
• Assist in exhibitions/meetings to promote MMS products with demonstrations.
• Provide market intelligence on tenders, pricing, and bundling to shape pricing.
• Forecast MMS capital and consumable stock to minimize stockouts and write-offs.
• Submit planners/reports to National Sales Manager and support the team.
