Job summary

BD is seeking a Sales Representative to drive sales growth and customer engagement for Medication Delivery Solutions in the Western Cape, South Africa. You will expand market penetration, build strong relationships with healthcare institutions, and deliver clinical and commercial value while maintaining high compliance and customer experience.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, at least 3 years in medical device sales, and willingness to travel across the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare discipline is required.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in medical devices is required.
• Willingness to travel across the Western Cape is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting.
• Self-motivated with a team-oriented approach and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell BD MDS products to healthcare institutions in the Western Cape.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and key collaborators.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and hands-on training sessions.
• Identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Gather and analyse competitor information and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Service teams.
• Develop territory plans to achieve sales objectives.
• Monitor market trends and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Prepare and submit sales activity reports.
• Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and professional events.
