Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, communications, data analytics, statistics, research or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 3–5 years’ experience in social listening, social intelligence, digital insights, audience intelligence, sentiment analysis or digital strategy, ideally within an agency, marketing or communications environment.
  • Demonstrable experience translating social, digital or audience data into strategic insight and recommendations.
  • Hands‑on experience using social listening and insight platforms such as Brandwatch.
  • Familiarity with SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SproutSocial, Hubspot, MailChimp or comparable tools is advantageous.

Description You will lead social listening, sentiment analysis and digital insight work across a portfolio of brands—uncovering the conversations, behaviours, opportunities and emerging trends that shape communication, channel and campaign strategy. You will be equally comfortable working hands‑on in insight platforms and presenting a clear, actionable point of view to clients and internal teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up, manage and optimise social listening and sentiment-analysis programmes across multiple brands and categories.
  • Monitor online conversation, brand sentiment, share of voice, competitor activity, cultural trends and emerging consumer behaviours across social and digital channels.
  • Build, maintain and quality‑assure listening queries, dashboards and reporting frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency and relevance.
  • Analyse social, digital and channel data to identify meaningful patterns, opportunities, risks and strategic implications.

  • Contribute social and digital insight to post‑campaign analyses, including performance evaluation and recommendations for future optimisation.
  • Partner with strategists, creative teams, client service and channel specialists to embed insight into communication and channel planning.
  • Present findings confidently and clearly to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Stay current on social‑platform developments, digital behaviour, analytics methodologies and relevant tools, sharing useful learning with the wider agency.
  • Develop strong digital channel and communication strategies across.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis and channel audits and review.
What You’ll Bring
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, communications, data analytics, statistics, research or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 3–5 years’ experience in social listening, social intelligence, digital insights, audience intelligence, sentiment analysis or digital strategy, ideally within an agency, marketing or communications environment.
  • Demonstrable experience translating social, digital or audience data into strategic insight and recommendations.
  • Hands‑on experience using social listening and insight platforms such as Brandwatch.
  • Familiarity with SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SproutSocial, Hubspot, MailChimp or comparable tools is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, Tag Manager and digital channels including websites, e‑commerce, paid media, social media, email and CRM is beneficial.
  • Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets capability; experience with Power BI, Looker Studio or similar visualisation tools would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in leveraging AI tools with strong prompt engineering skills, able to craft effective prompts to drive efficient, high‑quality outputs.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, data interpretation and attention to detail.
  • Strong written, verbal and visual storytelling skills, with confidence in developing and presenting client‑ready decks.
