Qualifications

One of South Africa's premier Vineyards, a leading player in the wine industry based close to Stellenbosch is looking for a Marketing Manager.

We’re looking for a creative genius with a knack for strategic thinking, a passion for driving brand success and crafting unforgettable marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand presence for the portfolio of brands, drive sales, and create consumer awareness and loyalty.

This role requires a deep understanding of the wine industry, consumer behaviour and the ability to create compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience.

Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our wine products and brand.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, events and traditional media.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with international teams to drive the portfolio of brands in key markets.
• Be the brand/portfolio custodian including understanding the brand profitability and actively work towards improving profitability
• Manage and oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, website content, and social media posts.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers, media, and partners.
• Organize and participate in wine tastings, trade shows, and other promotional events.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing effort

Requirements
