Placements24 seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to support Bloemfontein operations in the manufacturing sector. You will partner with operational leadership to drive engagement, manage performance, and ensure HR strategy alignment across talent management, employee relations and compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, IR knowledge, and workforce planning in a fast-paced industrial environment. On-site position with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/operations.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and manufacturing regulations.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management and talent development.

Responsabilités

• Act as strategic partner to operational management, aligning HR initiatives with business goals in manufacturing.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding across the site.
• Oversee employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions and workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with SA labor laws and industry regulations in manufacturing.
• Support talent development, skills training and career progression for operations staff.
• Collaborate with site leadership on workforce planning and staffing levels.
• Promote safety culture and ensure HR policies support health and safety rules.
• Contribute to HR policy development and data-driven insights for operations.
