Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes at our Benoni facility. You will analyze operations, design improvements, and implement new systems to drive productivity and cost-effectiveness.

You will collaborate with production teams and management, applying data analysis and modeling to improve throughput while maintaining quality and reducing waste. The role emphasizes lean principles and continuous improvement within Gauteng's dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD, and other relevant engineering tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Analyze production processes, workflows, and layouts to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Design and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to optimize productivity and quality.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Conduct time and motion studies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure successful integration.
Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to predict and improve operational performance.
