Job summary

HotelJobs is seeking an experienced Spa & Wellness Manager for a Luxury Boutique Hotel in Ballito. Lead spa operations, design innovative experiences, manage budgets and partner with Sales & Marketing to boost business.

Candidates should have 3+ years in luxury spa/wellness management, strong financial and guest-relations skills, and experience with wellness POS systems. Exceptional leadership and a calm, guest-centred approach are essential.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in spa/hospitality/wellness management.
Minimum 3 years’ management experience within a luxury spa/wellness environment.
Proven experience managing wellness operations, budgets, training, and inventory.
Strong financial, sales, marketing and guest relations experience.
Experience working with Wellness POS systems.
Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
Managing colleague performance issues quickly and effectively.
Wellness excellence and guest-centred professionalism.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all spa & wellness operations across the hotel to ensure exceptional guest experience.
Design and deliver innovative spa & wellness experiences.
Manage departmental budgets, financial performance and monthly reporting.
Develop annual spa & wellness budget and commercial plans with the General Manager.
Partner with Sales & Marketing to promote spa & wellness experiences and identify new business opportunities.
Oversee procurement, stock control, inventory and cost management.
Build strong guest relationships and resolve concerns professionally.
Conduct regular operational inspections to maintain standards.
Lead; coach, mentor and develop the wellness team through training and performance management.
Monitor spa & wellness performance through key metrics.
Develop annual training plan with the team leader.
