Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• 2+ years reservations experience in a large, high-volume city hotel.
• Proficient in OPERA PMS.
• Experience handling bookings, amendments and cancellations across direct and online channels.
• Solid understanding of room types, rates, packages, availability and basic revenue management.
• Excellent telephone and email communication with strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and work independently during late and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Process reservations, amendments and cancellations accurately on OPERA PMS.
• Respond promptly and professionally to telephone, email and online enquiries.
• Capture guest details, rates, packages and special requests correctly.
• Monitor availability and follow hotel procedures and rate strategies.
• Upsell room categories, packages and hotel services where appropriate.
• Resolve booking queries and coordinate guest requirements with relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate records and consistent service standards across all shifts.
