Job summary

The President Hotel is seeking a Hotel Receptionist to deliver exceptional guest service and keep the Front Office running smoothly at a busy front desk. Proficiency with OPERA PMS and a welcoming demeanor are essential.

Candidates should have a Matric certificate, hospitality qualification, and at least 2 years of front office experience in a busy hotel. Strong communication skills and the ability to work shifts including weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12) is required.
• Hospitality qualification or diploma is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years in hotel front office or reception environment.
• OPERA PMS experience is essential.
• Strong computer literacy including OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in busy 4- or 5-star hotel environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome hotel guests with warmth, professionalism and confidence.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently using OPERA PMS.
• Assist guests with requests, queries and information.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure guest profiles, bookings and billing details are accurate.
