Job summary

Bright Placements is seeking a Stock Controller to manage inventory across a luxury lodge’s departments, ensuring accurate records and cost controls. You will oversee stock from receiving to storage, support procurement, and maintain compliance with HACCP and safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in stock control within hospitality, strong numeracy, and proficiency with ERP systems. On-site in Western Cape with weekend/shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Diploma or Certificate in Inventory Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, Finance, or related field.
• Food Safety/HACCP certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming stock against POs and delivery notes.
• Capture stock into inventory management system.
• Maintain min/max stock levels and FIFO storage.
• Conduct stock counts and investigate variances.
• Prepare stock variance reports for management.
• Ensure accurate issue/return of stock.
• Assist with procurement requisitions and supplier liaison.
• Monitor food & beverage, housekeeping, maintenance inventories.
• Maintain records and generate stock movement reports.
