Placements24 seeks a skilled Duty Manager for a luxury boutique hotel in Rustenburg, North West. This hybrid role blends on-site leadership with remote administrative tasks to maintain outstanding guest experiences and seamless operations.

You will oversee front desk, housekeeping, F&B and maintenance during shifts, lead a diverse team, and ensure adherence to service standards. Strong leadership and PMS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in hotel management or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of hotel operations (front office, housekeeping & F&B).
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of hotel staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to the hotel's standards of quality, service, and presentation.
• Manage guest relations, addressing inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and effectively.
• Supervise front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and concierge services.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure seamless operations across housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
• Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations.
