You will work with internal teams to align production, dispatch and deliveries, and you may be asked to cover weekend

• Previous logistics, dispatch or delivery coordination experience is preferred.

About the role

A well-established print production company based in Sandton is seeking a proactive and hands-on Logistics Coordinator to oversee deliveries, coordinate dispatch operations and ensure the efficient running of the company's transport and logistics functions.

This role is suited to a responsible, solutions-driven individual with strong character, sound judgement and the ability to take ownership of tasks. The successful candidate must be willing to go the extra mile, work well within a team and ensure that daily logistics operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor deliveries to ensure that orders reach their destinations efficiently and on time.
• Oversee the day-to-day functions of the dispatch department.
• Maintain and update the D-Track system, ensuring that information is accurate and up to date.
• Ensure that company vehicles are regularly checked, properly maintained, serviced and roadworthy.
• Identify and resolve logistical challenges promptly and effectively.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and ensure that operational requirements are met.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination between production, dispatch and deliveries.

Minimum requirements and attributes

• Previous experience in logistics, dispatch or delivery coordination will be advantageous.
• Good organisational and coordination skills.
• Strong character, integrity and sound personal values.
• A practical, rational approach to problem-solving, with good common sense.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to take charge when required.
• A strong sense of accountability and a willingness to go the extra mile.

• Experience within the printing or production industry would be an advantage, but candidates from other relevant industries are encouraged to apply.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, with weekend availability at management's discretion when operational requirements demand it.

Salary

CTC negotiable, depending on experience.
