Placements24 is seeking a diligent Logistics Clerk to manage expedited shipment processes from our Nelspruit facility. You will coordinate with carriers, prepare shipping documents, track shipments, and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 1–3 years in logistics or related fields, familiarity with major carriers, and strong MS Office skills. You will support with various logistics tasks and must be able to commute to Nelspruit for on-site work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in logistics, shipping or administrative role.
• Familiar with carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS).
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and basic customs procedures is advantageous.
• Must be able to commute to Nelspruit.

Responsibilities

• Process and coordinate expedited shipping requests from various departments.
• Select appropriate shipping carriers and services based on urgency, cost, and destination.
• Prepare all necessary shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
• Track the status of expedited shipments and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Liaise with carriers to resolve any shipping delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all expedited shipments and associated costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations for expedited freight.
• Assist with other logistics and warehouse administrative tasks as needed.
• Verify shipping addresses and contact information for accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding shipment status and requirements.
