Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd is seeking a New Business Sales Executive for our client in George, South Africa. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building a strong pipeline and driving revenue growth within the logistics sector.

You will lead presentations, negotiate contracts and tailor solutions for clients, while collaborating with operations for onboarding and service delivery. A proven B2B sales track record and CRM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' proven B2B sales experience in logistics, transport or supply chain.
• Experience in new business development, prospecting and customer acquisition.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close sales.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Sound commercial acumen and strong MS Office proficiency.
• Valid SA driver’s licence and own transport.
• Experience with CRM systems and tender submissions.
• Established network in commercial, retail, distribution or manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Proactively prospect potential clients and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Generate leads through networking, market research and industry opportunities.
• Conduct sales presentations, solution discussions and commercial negotiations.
• Understand client requirements and present tailored logistics and courier solutions.
• Prepare commercial proposals and pricing solutions.
• Participate in tenders and respond to proposal opportunities as required.
• Convert prospects into active customers and achieve new business targets.
• Collaborate with operational teams for successful client onboarding.
• Build and maintain strong, professional customer relationships.
• Monitor competitor activity and develop market intelligence.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reporting through CRM and sales systems.
• Work towards monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
