Job summary

PlaceTalent Pty is seeking a senior Warehouse & Logistics professional in Gauteng to coordinate daily warehouse operations and oversee inbound/outbound logistics across regions. You will monitor inventory movements, forecast demand, and ensure timely fulfilment to meet project milestones.

You will also manage customs, cross-border shipments, and reverse logistics while driving continuous improvements in efficiency and safety. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ progressive experience in warehousing and logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, and fulfilment.
• Experience with WMS/TMS and ERP platforms (Oracle or similar).
• Knowledge of customs procedures and international shipping.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatching, and shipping.
• Manage inbound, outbound, and inter-market logistics in collaboration with regional teams.
• Monitor inventory movements across the warehouse network to support project builds, maintenance programmes, and customer demand.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, coordinate fulfilment timelines, and meet project milestones.
• Oversee customs clearance and cross-border shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Manage reverse logistics processes, including returns, repairs, recycling, and asset recovery.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Build effective working relationships with internal teams and external logistics partners.
