Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a detail‑oriented Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to join a manufacturing organisation in Johannesburg. The role involves coordinating inbound/outbound logistics, monitoring stock levels, and supporting procurement and supplier coordination.

You will liaise across transport providers, production planning, and internal teams while ensuring accurate ERP documentation and timely order delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Operations Management or Industrial Engineering.
• 13 years' experience within Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehouse Operations or Procurement.
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock planning.
• Support procurement and supplier order coordination.
• Liaise with transport providers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Assist with production scheduling and material planning.
• Track customer orders and delivery performance.
• Maintain ERP system information and logistics documentation.
• Analyse operational data and prepare supply chain reports.
• Assist with continuous improvement across logistics and warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and supply chain procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in:Supply Chain Management Logistics Procurement Operations Management Industrial Engineering
• 13 years' experience within:Logistics Supply Chain Manufacturing Warehouse Operations Procurement
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment will be highly advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
• ERP systems exposure (SAP, Syspro or similar advantageous)
• Strong reporting and analytical capability
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
