About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure the efficient flow of goods within their logistics and warehousing operations. This hybrid role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage both physical counts and system data. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies, prevent loss, and optimize stock levels, playing a key part in the overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy of records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure adequate supply and prevent stockouts or overstocking.

Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse/inventory role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with both on-site and remote responsibilities.
