Job summary

Profile Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee finished goods warehouse activities, ensuring efficient storage, accurate inventory control and timely dispatch.

The role requires hands-on supervision, leadership, and the ability to deliver continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment, while maintaining high operational standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Three-year tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related field.
• 3-5 years' warehouse experience, preferably FMCG.
• 1-2 years' supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and deadline-driven.
• Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems; Dynamics 365 BC advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Lead, coach and manage warehouse staff to achieve targets.
• Ensure health and safety and FIFO compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements.
• Utilise WMS/ERP reporting for stock control and management.
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth operations.

This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone who can lead a team, maintain high operational standards and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.

• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.

• Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts, audits and effective inventory controls.

• Lead, coach and manage warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and warehouse procedures, including FIFO.

• Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement.

• Utilise WMS/ERP systems for reporting, stock control and operational management.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Three-year tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related field.
