Placements24 in Vereeniging is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Production Assistant to support our live events operations. You will assist with pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event wrap-up, helping ensure smooth cast and crew coordination.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in event production, exposure to vendor and venue coordination, and a collaborative team environment in a dynamic live entertainment setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative or support role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays for events.

Responsibilities

• Assist the production team with pre-event planning, including scheduling and vendor coordination.
• Provide on-site support during events, handling logistics and crowd management.
• Help with setup and breakdown of event equipment and spaces.
• Manage administrative tasks, update contact lists, track expenses, and prepare reports.
• Communicate effectively with team members, artists and venue staff to ensure flow.
