ACDC Dynamics South Africa is seeking a Category Specialist Lighting to drive growth in Cape Town. You will work with the category manager to analyse the market, identify opportunities, and shape product placements in client stores and franchises.

You will manage product launches, train sales teams, develop lead generation initiatives, and maintain strong client relationships while aiming to meet and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the marketplace with the category manager and design a market strategy based on product range.
• Develop product launch programs and customer days or product awareness campaigns.
• Liaise with upper management to ensure sales targets are met.
• Generate new leads and develop existing ACDC customers.
• Respond to customer enquiries and manage several assigned accounts.
• Training in-house and external sales teams on sales techniques and products as required.
• Execute and manage sales strategies.
