Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in operations coordination or similar role in leisure/hospitality/sports.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency in leisure management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and operational improvement.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to leisure facilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends in Vereeniging, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure a seamless experience for members and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations, including inquiries, bookings, and membership administration.
• Supervise and support centre staff, assisting with scheduling and task allocation.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of all leisure facilities and equipment.
• Assist in planning and executing leisure programs, events, and activities.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, usage, and operational expenses.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers for maintenance and supplies.
• Implement and enforce centre policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Contribute to strategies aimed at improving member satisfaction and centre utilization.
