Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating or managing leisure, sports or hospitality operations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage recreational programs for diverse users.
• Strong leadership, supervision and people skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the leisure center ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
• Develop, implement and manage a range of sports and recreational programs for all ages.
• Coordinate scheduling for facilities, equipment and staff to maximize utilization.
• Supervise front desk staff, instructors and support teams.
• Manage membership services including registrations, renewals, and inquiries.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and emergency procedures.
• Organize events, tournaments and community outreach activities.
• Maintain inventory and procurement workflows for supplies and equipment.
• Prepare reports on facility usage, programs and financial performance.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote activities and attract new members.
