Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in supervisory/management in leisure, hospitality, or fitness.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Basic health and safety knowledge in a public facility setting.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the leisure centre, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Manage and support a team of front desk staff, fitness instructors, and lifeguards.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered to all centre members and visitors.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Oversee facility bookings, equipment maintenance, and stock management for consumables.
• Assist in the planning and promotion of leisure activities, classes, and special events.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Open and close the centre as required, managing cash handling and reporting procedures.
• Train new staff members on centre policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive and motivating environment for both staff and centre users.
