Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Leisure Centre Operations Manager for a flagship Randburg facility in Gauteng. The role focuses on day-to-day operations, delivering high-quality services, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for members and visitors.

You will lead staff, manage budgets, implement policies, and drive initiatives to boost member satisfaction and operational efficiency. This is a full-time on-site position rooted in community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years in leisure centre management or similar.
• Proven leadership and staff development experience.
• Strong budgeting, reporting, and revenue generation skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety and security regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with facility management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects of the leisure centre.
• Manage and develop centre staff teams.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and maintenance across facilities.
• Develop and manage the centre budget and expenses.
• Enforce policies and health & safety regulations.
• Enhance member experience through service delivery.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote activities.
