Job summary

Online-Education-Services is seeking a Learning Design Team Lead / Learning Strategist to manage a pod delivering quality online learning programs that align with our pedagogical model and unit quality standards. You will oversee unit delivery across multiple stakeholders to optimise student learning experiences.

You will drive thought leadership in educational design, deploy mastery of design principles, and lead workload prioritisation, QA, and resource allocation to achieve timely,

Qualifications

• A relevant undergraduate and/or postgraduate tertiary qualification.
• Demonstrated expertise in innovative design and delivery methods and tools for online teaching.
• Strong understanding and application of adult learning principles.
• Extensive experience in tertiary teaching environments, including online, addressing learner-centered, flexible education.
• Extensive experience in online subject design and development in a tertiary setting.
• Extensive knowledge of online technologies and Learning Management systems including Canvas, Moodle and editing/design software.
• Process and project management experience in environments with competing priorities, tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence and engage stakeholders outside the team.
• People management skills and experience are highly regarded.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of learning experiences aligned with OES pedagogy and quality standards.
• Oversee a pod to develop and implement quality online programs and meet delivery timelines.
• Identify pedagogically sound interactives to enhance the online learning experience.
• Manage performance within the pod and develop career paths for learning designers.
• Collaborate with university partners, internal stakeholders and IT to create effective learning resources.
• Govern QA processes and timelines to ensure continuous improvement.
