Online Education Services (OES) in Cape Town is seeking a Learning Design Team Lead / Learning Strategist to lead a pod of Learning Designers, drive the development of high‑quality online units, and ensure alignment with OES pedagogical standards and quality metrics while coordinating with university partners and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Learning Design team in an online education environment.
• Ability to oversee online unit development meeting quality standards.
• Strong collaboration with academics, IT and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and engage Learning Designers in a Learning Design pod.
• Oversee development of online units meeting quality matters standards.
• Identify pedagogically sound interactives to enhance learning experience for students.
• Manage performance within the pod and career development plans.
• Collaborate with university partners and internal stakeholders to deliver learner-centered outcomes.
• Drive QA processes and timelines for unit delivery.
