Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Instructional Designer to guide a global, fully remote team in creating engaging digital learning experiences. You will set strategic direction for instructional design, ensure quality, and champion innovative pedagogical approaches across diverse learning formats.

The role requires a master’s degree in instructional design or related field and at least six years of experience, including leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of instructional design experience with at least 2 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Experience designing and developing digital learning formats (e-learning, webinars, simulations).
• Proficiency with Storyline/ Captivate and LMS platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, global team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of instructional designers, providing guidance and feedback.
• Develop and implement the overall strategy for instructional design aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the design and development of high-quality e-learning courses and materials.
• Establish design standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define learning needs and translate them into solutions.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Stay current with emerging trends in e-learning and instructional design.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for the team and stakeholders.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and propose data-driven improvements.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
