Placements24 is seeking an innovative and driven Process Improvement Engineer to optimize manufacturing operations at our Benoni facility. You will lead lean, Six Sigma projects to boost productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality through data-driven analysis and structured implementation.

The role requires collaboration with production, management, and technical teams in a hybrid work setting, strong analytical skills, and a passion for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years in process improvement or manufacturing engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred.
• Proven experience leading and implementing successful process improvement projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process improvement using lean and Six Sigma.
• Analyze production data to identify root causes of inefficiencies, quality issues, and cost overruns.
• Develop and implement solutions to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adoption and sustainability of process changes.
• Develop and deliver training on new processes and improvement techniques.
• Track and report on KPIs related to process improvements.
