Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a forward-thinking manufacturing and production client near Sandton to recruit a Process Improvement Specialist. The role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, implementing Lean Six Sigma driven solutions, and improving productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness through cross-functional collaboration.

You will map current processes, design pilots, mentor staff, and document SOPs while measuring impact and sustaining gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in process improvement or continuous improvement roles.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma.
• Design pilot projects to test new processes.
• Train staff on new processes and improvement methods.
• Measure impact and maintain SOPs documenting changes.
