Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Lean Manufacturing Specialist to drive continuous improvement at their East London facility. You will lead lean initiatives, optimize workflows, and apply Kaizen, 5S and value stream mapping to reduce waste and boost efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations Management, hands-on experience with lean tools, and the ability to work in a hybrid setting with on-site implementation and remote analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma.
• Analytical and change-management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with on-site implementation and remote planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events, 5S and value stream mapping.
• Identify and eliminate waste throughout production processes.
• Develop and implement standard work procedures.
• Train and mentor employees at all levels on lean principles.
• Monitor effectiveness of lean solutions and drive continuous improvements.
