Placements24 seeks an enthusiastic Lean Industrial Engineer to drive continuous improvement at its Port Elizabeth facility in a hybrid role. You will lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and boost efficiency by collaborating with production and management teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, has hands-on Lean experience, and can mentor staff while standardizing work procedures and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering required.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles in an industrial setting.
• Strong data analysis and process-mapping skills.
• Experience leading Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Manufacturing projects, Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 5S implementation.
• Analyze production data to identify waste and inefficiency in time, materials, and resources.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce lead times, improve quality, and lower costs.
• Train and mentor production staff on Lean principles and CI techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and best practices.
• Standardize work procedures and develop robust documentation for all improvements.
