This hands-on role requires leading a team of instructors, managing bookings, and ensuring a safe, high-quality experience on the beach and in the water.

You will bring ISA Level 2+ certification, 7+ years teaching, 3+ years in management, First Aid/ CPR, and a passion for ocean safety.

Qualificações

• Internationally recognized surf instructor certification (e.g., ISA Level 2 or higher).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a professional surf instructor.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role within a surf school or similar outdoor recreation business.
• Advanced surfing skills and a comprehensive understanding of surf forecasting and ocean dynamics.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for surfing and commitment to promoting ocean safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver high-quality surf lessons and coaching sessions for various age groups and skill levels.
• Manage the daily operations of the surf school, including scheduling lessons, managing bookings, and coordinating staff.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and emergency procedures, maintaining a safe environment for students and staff.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance, ensuring surfboards, wetsuits, and safety gear are in optimal condition.
• Train and mentor new surf instructors, ensuring they meet the company's standards for instruction and safety.
• Manage inventory of surf equipment and supplies, placing orders as needed.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
• Promote the surf school and its programs to local communities and tourists.
• Monitor surf conditions and weather patterns to determine the suitability of lessons and ensure safety.
