Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Production Efficiency Manager to lead improvements at their Queenstown facility. You will direct a team of engineers and production staff, driving Lean, Six Sigma projects and reliability initiatives to maximize output and quality.

The role requires a BS in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering (MS preferred), 8+ years in production or industrial engineering with 3+ in leadership, and a proven track record of cost reductions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years progressive experience in production management or industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance overall production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers and production supervisors, setting clear performance objectives.
• Oversee the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and best practices throughout the production floor.
• Monitor production metrics, analyze performance data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards across all production operations.
• Manage production schedules and resource allocation to meet demand forecasts effectively.
