Placements24 invites an Industrial Engineer to lead Lean initiatives at its Queenstown facilities. The role drives waste reduction, workflow optimization, and overall efficiency by applying Lean tools and continuous improvement methods with production teams and management.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, at least four years in Lean Manufacturing, and a proven ability to run Kaizen events, map processes, analyze data, and coach staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading Lean projects with measurable results.
• Familiarity with process mapping, data analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to train and influence teams.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean tools implementation (5S, Kaizen, VSM, Kanban) to cut waste.
• Analyze production data to identify efficiency, quality and cost improvements.
• Develop and document standardized work procedures and best practices.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement workshops.
• Train and coach employees on Lean principles at all levels.
• Monitor progress and report impact on KPIs.
