Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in power systems engineering, preferably in renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of grid interconnection requirements and SA grid codes.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of utility-scale power systems for renewable projects.
• Develop grid interconnection studies, load flow, short-circuit, and transient stability analyses.
• Ensure compliance with national and international grid codes and standards.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to achieve milestones.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Evaluate electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, inverters, and storage systems.
• Advance innovative grid integration solutions and power quality improvements.
• Oversee procurement, construction, and commissioning activities; present reports to management.
