Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in nanny or Early Childhood Development roles.
• Qualifications in Early Childhood Development or related field.
• Experience delivering educational activities for preschool children.
• Strong understanding of child psychology and development stages.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with parents and other caregivers.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent English communication.
• Love for children with a patient, nurturing demeanor.
• Must reside or relocate to Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs.
• Provide attentive childcare, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Plan nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Manage daily routines, including playtime, naps and hygiene.
• Organise and accompany children on outings and activities.
• Communicate progress with parents regarding daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized home environment.
