The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, a qualification in early childhood development, and certifications in First Aid and CPR. A valid driver’s license and relocation willingness are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nanny or Early Childhood Educator.
• First Aid and CPR certification are mandatory.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Reside in or willing to relocate to Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
• Provide attentive and nurturing care, ensuring safety and well-being of the children.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
• Manage daily routines including waking, dressing, bathing, and nap times.
• Monitor and document children’s progress and report concerns to parents.
• Coordinate with parents on schedules and developmental goals.
• Foster a positive, supportive relationship and encourage independence and social skills.
• Oversee light household tasks related to the children’s care.
