Placements24 is seeking a Lead Nanny and Child Development Specialist in Midrand, Gauteng, SA, to oversee the development and well-being of two children aged 3 and 5. The role blends on-site caregiving with strategic planning and communication with parents to support learning and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in professional childcare, ECD qualifications, and expertise in curriculum planning and child psychology.

Formación

• ECD qualification and experience in early childhood development.
• Curriculum planning and age-appropriate activities for 3–5 year olds.
• Strong communication with parents and ability to document progress.

Responsabilidades

• Develop age-appropriate educational activities focusing on cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
• Plan nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating dietary needs.
• Manage daily routines including naps, meals, play and learning sessions.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing environment and supervise activities closely.
• Maintain open communication with parents on progress and concerns.
• Organise educational outings around Midrand and supervise travel as needed.
• Support consistent discipline and routine across the family.
