Placements24 in Upington, Northern Cape seeks an experienced Industrial Systems Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team. You will supervise technicians, implement preventive maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all equipment.

You will drive proactive maintenance, manage spares, and work with production and engineering to optimize performance and reduce downtime, while developing KPIs and budgets for the department.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with CMMS for work orders and inventory management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Safety regulatory knowledge and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for all equipment.
• Schedule and oversee corrective maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical/pneumatic issues.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and costs.
• Collaborate with production/engineering to optimize performance and downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Participate in selecting and implementing new equipment and technologies.
• Develop departmental KPIs and budgets.
