Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Industrial Maintenance Engineer for our client in Mahikeng, North West. The role will lead the maintenance team, develop preventive maintenance programs, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in industrial maintenance with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a solid track record in safety and reliability-driven maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in industrial maintenance engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all machinery.
• Lead and mentor the maintenance team and manage performance.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical/electrical issues on production equipment.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and maintenance budget.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability.
