The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in supervision, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, PLC familiarity, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a supervisory role within industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial control systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with CMMS software.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Leadership and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for all industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on production machinery.
• Oversee the installation of new equipment and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers for procurement of parts.
• Conduct regular inspections of the plant and facilities to identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, fostering skill development and safety.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair costs.
• Assist in budgeting for maintenance department operations and capital expenditures.
