Placements24 is seeking a Senior Well Operations Engineer to lead and execute complex well construction and intervention programs in the Benoni area. You will plan, prepare, and oversee drilling, completions, and interventions, ensuring safety and environmental standards are met while driving cost-effective results.

The role requires 6+ years in well operations engineering, strong well control and cementing knowledge, and proven rig supervision experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in well operations, including drilling and completions.
• Strong knowledge of well control, casing design, cementing.
• Experience in managing complex drilling operations and rig supervision.

Mansioni

• Develop detailed well operation plans, including drilling programs and intervention strategies.
• Supervise rig site operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and plan adherence.
• Manage drilling fluids, casing programs, cement design, and directional drilling execution.
• Coordinate logistics, equipment and personnel for well operations.
• Conduct pre-spud meetings and post-well reviews to capture lessons learned.
• Ensure accurate reporting of all operational activities and performance metrics.
