Key Responsibilities

Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of large-scale electrical systems for solar, wind, and hybrid energy projects. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a global team of electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing remote work environment. Oversee the creation of detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and equipment specifications. Conduct advanced power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, transient stability, and harmonic analysis. Ensure all designs comply with international standards, local grid codes, and best practices in renewable energy engineering. Collaborate closely with project management, business development, and operational teams to ensure seamless project execution from concept to commissioning. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement in electrical system design. Develop and implement design review processes to maintain technical integrity and quality across all projects. Manage relationships with key suppliers and technology partners to secure optimal solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical design engineering, with a significant focus on renewable energy projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing remote engineering teams.
• Expertise in power system simulation software such as PSS/E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of grid interconnection standards and utility requirements globally.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent international professional registration is highly advantageous.
