About the Role

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in using power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory DIgSILENT).
• Comprehensive understanding of grid codes and interconnection standards globally and specifically within the South African context.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing technical aspects of complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset for tackling intricate engineering challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for remote collaboration with diverse international teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent international certification is a strong advantage.
